Following in her grandmother's footsteps (who knit for her 12 children and 36 grandchildren!), Stephanie learned to knit and purl when she was just 10 years old. Her three teenagers are “too cool” for knitwear these days, but we know how in-demand their mom’s handiwork is. When she’s not teaching her co-workers to knit during night shifts at the hospital, this nurse is churning out socks and sweaters for NONIA. She even dreams of spinning her own yarn one day.
