Marie's specialty is thrummed mittens – a traditional Newfoundland technique that’s ultra-warm, ultra-soft, and keeps getting cozier with use. She’s perfected the skill over 60 years of knitting, but she’s not one to brag: she says “I just like that someone, somewhere, is wearing and enjoying something that I made.”
